The Umoja Coin Drive collection ended on Sunday November 13th, 2016. We are pleased to announce that our students collectively donated $894 in loose change, which is currently being transported to Karbala, and will be donated to orphans in Iraq.

May Allah(SWT) bless the efforts of all the parents who encouraged their children to participate in the spirit of charitable giving (sadaqah) to the poor and needy.

This is a very important lesson, that is a fundamental part of raising our children to be model citizens and contributing members of society, looking after the well-being of others.
