"Cleanliness is half of faith", as our Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW) is reported to have said.  Therefore, it is imperative that we teach our children the importance of respecting the school environment and instilling within them the value of keeping their area clean.

Whenever children leave the classroom, they should inspect the area immediately surrounding their desk, and pick up any trash that they find, and dispose of it in the nearest trash can.

Especially since we are now entering the Aklhaq (Ethics & Manners) trimester at Jafaria School, this is one lesson that should be imparted upon our children not only at home, but in the classroom environment as well.

Have you visited the Masjid-e-Ali Library yet? It is a fully functional library with several hundred books available for checkout. The library offers a diverse collection of books ranging from children to adult reading level.

In order to checkout books, you will need to register for a library card. Fill out the library card registration form, and bring it to the librarian on duty during school hours.

Jamaat prayers are held at Masjid-e-Ali 7 days a week for all 5 of the daily prayers. The Sunday Dhur and Asr prayers, which fall during Jafaria School hours, are no exception.

Parents are highly encouraged to join their children and pray alongside with them in congregation every Sunday.

Prayers are held at 1:15PM ET on Sundays.  School dismissal is at 2PM ET.
