The Jafaria School PTO presents Flowers For Parents Day, on Sunday May 8th, available on sale during school hours.

The Jafaria School Annual Quran Surah Competition will be held on Sunday May 1st, 2016. Best of luck to all students!

The first round of Parent-Teacher Conferences were held in January 2016, during which parents were invited to come and meet with teachers face to face during the school day.

The second round of Parent-Teacher Conferences for the school year will be not be held en masse, as it had been back in January. Conferences will conducted throughout the month of April 2016.

Instead, Teachers will be contacting the parents directly of the students whom were unable to avail themselves of the opportunity to meet the first time around. Likewise, teachers will be contacting the parents of students at their discretion whom they feel require special attention.

Conferences this time around will be conduct either by phone, or face-to-face by individual appointment onsite at Masjid-e-Ali.

If you already met with your child's teacher during the first round of Parent Teacher Conferences back in January 2016, but you would like to meet them again, please feel free to reach out them to schedule a meeting accordingly.

The final unit of the year begins now - Akhlaq. So far this year, we have completed the History unit and the Fiqh unit. Now we are beginning our unit on Akhlaq (Islamic ethics, manners, behavior, etc.)

It's exam time for the fiqh quarter at Jafaria School! The fiqh exams consist of both a written component as well as a practical component.

The written test is scheduled for this Sunday March 20th, 2016.

The practical test is scheduled for Sunday March 27th, 2016.

The final quarter of the school year will begin on Sunday April 3rd, 2016... Aqlaq / Aqaid.

The 2nd quarter Quran exams have completed and the 3rd quarter of the Quran session begins Sunday March 6th, 2016th.

Jafaria School will be CLOSED on Sunday February 14th, 2016, due to due to the extreme cold weather conditions. Stay warm!

Parents who were unable to attend Parent-Teacher Conferences last week (Sunday January 31st) will have an opportunity to hold a make-up conference session with your teacher.

Teachers will be reaching out to parents who were unable to make it to the conferences last week to make arrangements. Conferences may be held either in person or on the phone.

Due to Winter Storm Jonas, Jafaria School will be CLOSED on Sunday January 24th, 2016.

Parent-Teacher Conferences will be postponed until Sunday January 31st, 2016.

January 10th marks the beginning of the 2nd quarter. The 2nd quarter syllabus classes will be focusing on fiqh, whereas the 1st quarter was focused on Islamic history. Good luck to all students!

Jafaria School will be CLOSED Sunday December 27th, 2015 and Sunday January 2nd, 2016 for Winter Break.

Classes will resume on Sunday January 10th, 2015.

Masjid-e-Ali will be hosting a blood drive on Saturday November 28th. Details regarding the blood drive, including how you can register in advance for it, can be found on Masjid-e-Ali's website.

Jafaria School will be going on a "virtual field trip" to Hajj this Sunday October 11th, 2015. We will be conducting a school-wide Hajj Simulation. Parents are welcome to stay back and observe as students perform all of the ritual acts at each of the stations and stages of Umrah and Hajj... including having their visas stamped, receiving their vaccinations, and boarding a flight on Jafaria Airlines! More details will be sent out via email soon!

The first day of the 2015 - 2016 school year at Jafaria School was Sunday September 13th, 2015. School hours are from 10:30AM to 2PM every Sunday.

If you have already registered for class, you should have received an email confirming your enrollment along with your students' classroom reporting details.

If you have already missed the registration deadline but would like to submit a registration application, you may register online here. However, many of our classes have already reached full capacity. Therefore, if the grade you are enrolling your student in is full, you will be put on a waiting list.

The school hours are from 10:30AM to 2PM every Sunday.

Enrollment for the 2015 - 2016 school year has begun. This year we are introducing online enrollment, as opposed to the paper enrollment forms that were required in previous years. We are also offering online payment via credit card or PayPal as an alternative means of payment.

Enrollment Fee Schedule:
$450 for first child in the household
$350 for each additional child in the household

After much thought and deliberation, the Jafaria School Administration Team has made the decision to return to a single-session schedule which runs from 10:15AM through 2PM every Sunday all year. (The time does not change with Daylight Savings Time.)

There will no longer be a separate AM and PM session.

This is as opposed to the separate morning and afternoon session schedule which was held last year.

Join us Sunday January 14th at 11AM for the end-of-year graduation ceremony and celebration event.

Sunday June 7th, will be the graduation ceremony for Pre-K through 2nd grade students. The Quran Fair will also be held on this day.

Final exams will be held on Sunday May 31st, 2015 in all classes. Please contact your teacher if you have any questions or need help preparing for the exam.

Jafaria School will be CLOSED for Memorial Day Weekend on Sunday May 24th, 2015.
